Terms Conditions

By placing an order or buying any gear on refurbishedphones.net.au, you agree to follow and be bound by these terms. This website and all our services are operated by the registered owner of (ABN 23 632 409 815), trading right here as Refurbished Phones.

Prices and products

All our prices can change without warning. The price you see at the checkout when you pay is the exact price you lock in. Our product descriptions and tech specs are completely binding. If a phone or tablet turns up and does not match what we promised in the listing, you are fully entitled to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law. We reserve the right to fix up any accidental pricing slip-ups or obvious system errors on the site, and we can cancel any orders that go through under an incorrect price.

Payment methods

We take all major secure payment options, including standard credit cards (Visa, Mastercard), PayPal, and the other secure options shown at the checkout. To keep things safe and stop fraud, new customers might need to complete a quick, one-time security verification. This just involves confirming a tiny security charge (somewhere between $0.01 and $1.00 less than your actual order total) to prove the card is yours.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed under Aussie law, our total liability is strictly capped at either repairing your device, swapping it out for a replacement, or sorting you out with a full refund. We are not liable for any indirect or knock-on losses, including lost data, missed wages, loss of business profits, or what you paid a third-party repair shop to open the phone. We also will not take blame for any damage caused to the device after it has been safely delivered back into your hands. None of this overrides or limits the rock-solid statutory consumer guarantees that protect you under the Australian Consumer Law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by and run under the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any legal disputes or claims coming out of a purchase from our store will be handled exclusively by the courts of Victoria. You also agree that any legal action must be brought forward within a strict 12-month window from the date the issue first popped up.

Changes to terms

We might update these terms from time to time to keep things current. The latest version will always live right here on our website. Any changes we make will only apply to future purchases, not the orders you have already placed.

Force majeure

We will not be held responsible for any delivery delays, shipping hold-ups, or failures to get things sorted if it is caused by unexpected events completely out of our control. This includes things like natural disasters, worker strikes, company lockouts, riots, acts of government, regional pandemics, fires, major floods, or if third-party courier services completely grind to a halt.

Severability

If a court decides that a specific rule or sentence in these terms is invalid or unenforceable, that specific bit will be removed or cut down to the absolute minimum required by law. The rest of our terms will stay 100% active, legal, and binding.

No waiver

If we happen to overlook a breach or do not enforce a specific right in these terms straight away, it does not mean we are waiving our rights permanently. A waiver is only legally valid if we put it down in writing and sign off on it properly.

Entire agreement

These Terms & Conditions, along with our other store policies and rules posted on the site, make up the whole official agreement between you and our brand, completely replacing any older chats or setups. For the full picture on how we operate, make sure to read through our active Warranty Policy, Return & Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, and Privacy Policy.
